UDE Ultra Detail Enhancement provides two stage picture quality enhancement. The first stage creates superior 1080p Full HD video and improves picture quality, making every Blu-ray™ or DVD look better than ever for any Full HD or 4K Ultra HD TV. Stage two adds high quality 4K upscaling for use with Ultra HD TVs. The BDX5500 offers advanced media box features such as an enhanced easy-to-use ePortal interface to access your apps, and new Smart TV Alliance App capability to ensure ongoing app library expansion. Equipped with built-in Wi-Fi® and Miracast™, the BDX5500 lets you share content from one device to another without using cables or a connecting to a wireless home network. Access the variety of streaming content with key media Apps including Netflix®, YouTube™, VUDU® Movies and TV, and more.
